DVD BEST REMUDAS

A Ranch Remuda is defined as "The herd of ranch horses from which those to be used for the day are chosen."

Since 1992, the American Quarter Horse Association has selected one North American ranch to receive its Best Remuda award. Winners are selected not only for their quality horses but how the remuda is an integral part of daily life on a real working ranch.

The winners stretch from Canada to the Mexican border, and the traditions and way of everyday life are as diverse as the ranches and the people on them.

In his book, "Best Remudas," author Jim Jennings takes a look at the first 15 individual winners and discovers what makes each ranch and remuda unique.

On this DVD, you’ll discover some amazing sights and sounds from these ranches. From each ranch’s beginning to their lineage of horses, you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look and even hear from Jim about his experiences while visiting these ranches.
