DVD JUDGING WESTERN PLEASURE

Western Pleasure is one of the most popular American Quarter Horse Association events. From youth to novice and select to open, western pleasure continues to attract all levels of riders.
As the class name implies, a western pleasure horse should be a pleasure to ride. This video demonstrates the correct movements at all three gaits (walk, jog and lope) and the proper head carriage of the western pleasure horse. Sample classes engage the viewer to judge the class in relation to cadence and balance.
